Brutallus, Healer Guide
Updated 8 months, 3 weeks ago for patch 2.5.5 by Preston. View the change log.
This page covers a healer-focused strategy for Brutallus in Sunwell Plateau in The Burning Crusade. While it's tailored for healers, other roles may also find the information useful. If you have any suggestions or feedback, you can leave a comment below or tweet @PrestonDvorak.
This guide has been updated and maintained based on my own experiences with the encounter, combat log information, and Dungeon Journal information. I'll continue to update it as-needed.
General Mechanics and Abilities
- The tanks will be dealing with Stomp, greatly reducing armor while removing Burn, detailed below.
- Players must stack with one of the two tanks to help split the damage from Meteor Slash.
- Targets random players with Burn, dealing increasing light to moderate damage over time and spreading to other players within 2-yards.
- Players affected by this should generally avoid being hit by Meteor Slash.
- After 6-minutes, goes Berserk, greatly increasing attack speed and damage dealt.
Resistance Levels
- All players should use as much Fire Resistance as possible without sacrificing other stats.
