This guide has been updated and maintained based on my own experiences as well as Dungeon Journal and combat log information. I'll continue to update it as-needed.
Bosses
Below are guides for the bosses in Halls of Atonement, including their abilities, healer notes, and addon settings.
Halkias, the Sin-Stained Goliath
- Avoid the patches of Glass Shards left behind by several abilities, noted below.
- Dispel Sinlight Visions (magic) to remove the Fear effect.
- On Mythic, stay within the Light of Atonement aura around the boss to avoid triggering Sinlight Visions (dispel, magic).
- Don't stand in front of the boss to avoid Crumbling Slam. This leaves behind Glass Shards.
- During Refracted Sunlight, avoid the beams coming from Halkias' windows as it rotates in place, sometimes changing rotation direction.
- Targets random players with Heave Debris, leaving behind Glass Shards patches at their location.
Healing Notes
- Use cooldowns as-needed during Refracted Sunlight, especially when patches of Glass Shards are plentiful and hard to avoid.

Mythic+ Notes
Below are notes that pertain to high mythic+ levels and certain affixes. What constitutes a high mythic+ level will depend on your gear and group, so if you out-gear a particular mythic+ level these notes may not apply. The notes are grouped by affix but are in no particular order.
- Tyrannical
- Echelon
- Stone Shattering Leap will likely require cooldowns.
- High Adjudicator Aleez
- Pulse from Beyond from Ghastly Parishioner will likely require minor cooldowns.
- Volley of Power will require cooldowns if there aren't enough interrupts.
- Lord Chamberlain
- The tank is much more likely to need external defensive cooldowns while affected by Stigma of Pride.
- Moving to attempt to avoid the Statue targeted by Telekinectic Toss is much more important.
- Echelon
- Fortified
- Depraved Houndmaster / Vicious Gargon
- When a Houndmaster is present with Vicious Gargons, their Loyal Beasts enrage can be exceptionally deadly. Be ready with stuns and snares if enrage soothes are not available.
- Shard of Halkias
- Thrash will require cooldowns to survive.
- Depraved Houndmaster / Vicious Gargon
- Sanguine
- Depraved Obliterator
- Can be difficult to move due to their preference for casting spells. Be ready with interrupts and knock backs.
- Shard of Halkias
- Will not move while channeling Thrash.
- Depraved Obliterator
- Bolstering
- I need to double check if Stonefiend Anklebiters or Tormented Souls apply stacks of Bolstering. My guess is they won't.
- Grievous
- Shard of Halkias
- Can cause players to gain high stacks during Thrash.
- Shard of Halkias
- Raging
- Shard of Halkias
- Must be soothed quickly if channeling Thrash.
- Shard of Halkias
- Explosive
- Inquisitor Sigar / Tormented Souls
- Don't enter combat with too many Tormented Souls at once or the Explosive orbs may become overwhelming.
- Inquisitor Sigar / Tormented Souls
