This guide has been updated and maintained based on my own experiences as well as Dungeon Journal and combat log information. I'll continue to update it as-needed.
Bosses
Below are guides for the bosses in The Azure Vault, including their abilities, healer notes, and addon settings.
Leymor
The three nearby Arcane Tenders must be killed to remove Stasis Ritual and activate Leymor.
- Every 45-seconds, creates nine Ley-Line Sprouts at random locations.
- Ley-Line Sprout
- Stay more than 5-yards away to avoid the moderate damage over time from Arcane Roots.
- Must be destroyed using the following boss abilities, detailed below:
- Ley-Line Sprout
- The tank will be dealing with light damage and then light damage over time from Infused Strike.
- Don't stand in front to avoid Erupting Fissure.
- This destroys any Ley-Line Sprouts hit.
- Every 30-seconds, during Explosive Brand:
- If any Ley-Line Sprouts are active, players should stand within 12-yards of Leymore to take moderate damage and get knocked back, gaining Explosive Brand.
- When Explosive Brand expires, it deals moderate damage to all players and destroys all Ley-Line Sprout within 10-yards with Explosive Brand.
- If no Ley-Line Sprouts are active, stay more than 12-yards away from Leymore to avoid the extra damage.
- If any Ley-Line Sprouts are active, players should stand within 12-yards of Leymore to take moderate damage and get knocked back, gaining Explosive Brand.
- Every 45-seconds, deals moderate to heavy damage to all players with Consuming Stomp.
- Damage dealt is increased by Arcane Power for each Ley-Line Sprout that exists.
- This destroys all Ley-Line Sprouts.
Mythic Differences
- Ley-Line Sprouts spawn Volatile Saplings when destroyed.

- Upon death, stay more than 7-yards away to avoid the heavy damage from Sappy Burst.

- Use cooldowns on Consuming Stomp.
Debuffs to Track
- Major: Explosive Brand
- Minor: Infused Strike
Addons
Azureblade
- Don't stand in front to avoid Arcane Cleave.
- Don't stand in front when she turns to cast Arcane Orb at a random player.
- During Overwhelming Energy:
- Four Draconic Illusions spawn.
- Draconic Illusion
- Makes Azureblade immune to damage with Seal Empowerment.
- Once all Illusions are killed, Overwhelming Energy ends.
- Draconic Illusion
- Avoid the paths of Ancient Orb Fragments.
- Deals light damage over time to all players.
- Four Draconic Illusions spawn.
- Every 15-seconds while Overwhelming Energy isn't active, spawns a Draconic Image.

- Interrupt Illusionary Bolt to prevent the light damage dealt to a random player.
- Draconic Image
Mythic Differences
- When Draconic Illusions and Draconic Images are killed, avoid the impact locations of Unstable Magic targeted at each player.

Healing Notes
- Use cooldowns on Overwhelming Energy.
Debuffs to Track
- There are no particular debuffs to track.
Addons
Telash Greywing
- When targeted by Icy Devastator, stay more than 8-yards away from other players to avoid chaining the damage.
- All players are targeted by Frost Bomb at the same time and should move to the edges of the room while staying more than 5-yards away from one another to drop the resulting Frozen Ground patches.
- Frozen Ground persist for the entire encounter and should be avoided.
- At 100% Energy, about every 60-seconds:
- Flies to the center of the room and begins casting Absolute Zero.
- Immune to damage due to Glacial Shield.
- All players must stand inside one of the blue, protective Vault Rune zones that appears around the room.
- When Absolute Zero finishes casting, it deals heavy damage to all players not inside a Vault Rune and light damage to all players inside a Vault Rune.
Mythic Differences
- Vault Runes are deactivated once they've protected a player, meaning players should all stand in the same Vault Rune for Absolute Zero.
Mythic+ Affix Notes
- Orbs could spawn far away from players during Absolute Zero.
- Several affixes can make standing inside a Vault Rune zone difficult.
Healing Notes
- Use cooldowns as-needed on Absolute Zero and Frost Bomb.
Debuffs to Track
- Major: Icy Devastator, Frozen Ground, (Optional) Vault Rune (to see who is protected or not)
Addons
Umbrelskul
- Don't stand in front to avoid Crystalline Roar.
- Dispel Dragon Strike (magic) to remove the light damage over time effect.
- At 75%, 50%, and 25% health, Brittle causes five Detonating Crystals to spawn.
- Deals moderate damage to all players and knocks them back with Unleashed Destruction.
- Avoid the impact locations of Arcane Eruption and the Crackling Vortexes left behind.
Mythic Differences
- Afflicts players with Oppressive Miasma (dispel, magic), reducing movement speed each time the player moves.
- When dispelled, Umbrelskul gains a stack of Unbridled Power, increasing damage dealt.
- This can be dispelled as-needed, usually around 13 stacks to ensure players can continue moving effectively to deal with other abilities.
- Brittle now spawns Hardened Crystals in addition to Detonating Crystals.
- Hardened Crystal
- Protected by a Crystallize damage absorption shield.
- Attempts to cast Fracture, applying a stacking moderate to heavy damage over time effect to all players.
- Hardened Crystal
Mythic+ Affix Notes
- Players can gain excessive stacks due to Fracture.
Healing Notes
- Use cooldowns on Fracture.
Debuffs to Track
- Major: Oppressive Miasma (dispel, magic), Fracture
- Minor: Dragon Strike (dispel, magic)
Addons
Trash Mobs
Below are notes for the trash mobs in The Azure Vault. The Azure Vault has a relatively linear layout, and trash mobs are ordered as if you're completing bosses as they're listed above.
- Throughout the dungeon, avoid the locations of Polymorphic Runes, small pink/purple circles. When touched, these expand before applying Polymorphed (dispel, magic) to all players within 5-yards.
Entrance thru Leymor
- Shrieking Whelp
- Stun to interrupt Shriek to prevent Crystal Furys and Crystal Constructs within 40-yards from being activated.
- Crystal Fury
- Don't stand in front to avoid Piercing Shards. Players hit take moderate damage over time.
- Purge Arcane Fury to remove the increased damage dealt effect.
- Crystal Construct
- Stay more than 15-yards away to avoid the Root effect from Crystalline Rupture (dispel, magic).
- When affected by Splintering Shards, stay more than 7-yards away from other players to avoid chaining the damage.
- Soothe immediately.
- Crystal Fury
- Can see through Stealth and Invisibility effects due to Revealing Gaze.
- Avoid combining with inspiring enemies whenever possible.
- Stun to interrupt Shriek to prevent Crystal Furys and Crystal Constructs within 40-yards from being activated.
- Oozing Lasher
- Avoid the locations of Choking Vapors patches.
- Arcane Tender
- Stun to interrupt Erratic Growth or dispel Erratic Growth (magic) to remove the Stun effect.
- If a dispel isn't available, stay more than 5-yards away from the affected player to avoid also being Stunned by Erratic Growth (dispel, magic).
- Avoid the impact locations of Wild Eruption and the Infused Ground left behind.
- Stun to interrupt Erratic Growth or dispel Erratic Growth (magic) to remove the Stun effect.
- Volatile Sapling
- Upon death, stay more than 7-yards away to avoid the heavy damage from Sappy Burst.
Leymor thru Azureblade
- This area includes Shrieking Whelps, detailed above.
- Arcane Elemental
- Interrupt or dispel Waking Bane (magic) to prevent the incapacitating effect on a random player.
- When possible, interrupt Arcane Bolt to prevent the light damage dealt to the tank.
- Avoid combining with inspiring enemies whenever possible.
- Partway through this area, players will need to interact with the Book of Translocation to reach an otherwise unreachable platforms.
- In the hallway before entering the first ring, players with Inscription can interact with the Tome of Transmogrification, gaining the Reverse Trap Extra Action Button. Allowing them to make Polymorphic Runes in a targeted area affect enemies instead of players.
- Early platforms can apply Wild Magic to players, granting a random beneficial effect.
- Hardening Scales decreases movement speed and damage taken.
- Scornful Haste grants increased Haste to players and enemies within 10-yards.
- Shrinking Form increases movement speed and damage taken.
- Sluggish Adoration reduces the movement speed of enemies within 10-yards.
- Viscous Toads causes the affected player to frequently release Viscous Toads that Stun enemies within 10-yards with Viscous Toads.
- Arcane Curator
- Avoid the successive impact locations of Forbidden Knowledge (dispel, magic) targeted on all players.
- When possible, interrupt Heavy Tome to prevent the light damage dealt to a random player.
- Rune Seal Keeper
- Deals light damage to and Roots all players with Icy Bindings (dispel, magic).
- When possible, interrupt Condensed Frost to prevent the light damage dealt to the tank.
- Creates a difficult combination with Arcane Attendants.
- Arcane Construct
- Don't stand in front to avoid Arcane Bash.
- Purge Conjured Barrier to remove the damage absorption effect.
- Arcane Attendant
- Stun to interrupt Unstable Power or avoid the impact locations.
- Creates a difficult combination with Rune Seal Keepers.
- Soothe immediately.
- Vault Guard
- The tank will be dealing with extra damage from Ice Cutter.
- Purge Brilliant Scales to remove the reduced magic damage taken effect.
- Scalebane Lieutenant
- Don't stand in front to avoid Spellfrost Breath.
- The tank will be dealing with extra light damage from Ice Cutter.
- Purge Brilliant Scales to remove the reduced magic damage taken effect.
Azureblade thru Telash Greywing
- Drakonid Breaker
- Deals light damage to and knocks back random players with Shoulder Slam.
- Soothe immediately.
- Tarasek Delver
- The tank will be dealing with extra moderate damage and light damage over time from Tear Flesh.
- Soothe immediately.
- Nullmagic Hornswog
- Avoid the impact location of Null Stomp. Players hit take moderate damage and have all magic buffs dispelled.
Telash Greywing thru Umbrelskul
- There are no enemies between these two bosses.
- Players jump into the central area of Telash's room to reach Umbrelskul.
Trash Debuffs to Track
- Major:
- Magic Dispel: Erratic Growth (dispel, magic), Forbidden Knowledge (dispel, magic), Polymorphed (dispel, magic), Waking Bane (dispel, magic)
- Damaging: Piercing Shards
- Minor:
- Magic Dispel: Crystalline Rupture (dispel, magic)
- Damaging: Splintering Shards, Tear Flesh
- Enrages to Soothe: None
- Buffs to Purge: Arcane Fury, Conjured Barrier, Brilliant Scales

Entrance thru Leymor
- Enemy density can lead to excessive stacks if not careful.
- Narrow corridors and enemy density can make several affixes difficult to avoid.
Leymor thru Azureblade
- Several affixes can make avoiding the frequent impact locations from enemies in this area more difficult.
Azureblade thru Telash Greywing
- No general notes, check specific enemies above.
Telash Greywing thru Umbrelskul
- There are no enemies in this area.
