This guide has been updated and maintained based on my own experiences with the encounter, logs information, and Dungeon Journal information. I'll continue to update it as-needed.

General Mechanics and Abilities

• Accompanied by two Crypt Guards.
  • Crypt Guard
    • Susceptible to stuns.
    • The tanks will be dealing with stacks of Acid Spit.
    • Don't stand in front to avoid Cleave.
    • Stay more than 10-yards away to avoid the root effect from Web.
    • At 50% health, soothe (8269) to remove the increased attack speed and physical damage dealt effect.
• Don't stand in front when it turns to cast Impale. Players hit will be knocked in the air and take fall damage.
• During Locust Swarm, stay at least 30-yards away from the boss to avoid the stacking damage over time and pacification effect from Locust Swarm.
  • This spawns a new Crypt Guard, which functions the same as noted above.
• Summons 5-10 Corpse Scarabs from Crypt Guards and players when they die.

Season of Mastery Differences

• Currently, I'm not aware of any mechanical differences.
• There are new quests offered by Archmage Tarsis Kir-Moldir just inside Naxxramas, and it was suggested that these could lead to surprises that "have a significant impact" inside and outside Naxxramas.

Resistance Levels

• All players should use as much Nature Resistance as possible without sacrificing other stats.

Healing Notes

The notes below mostly pertain to progression difficulty, meaning if you out-gear the difficulty you're on or use extra healers they may not apply.

• Be prepared to heal the tank through stacks of Locust Swarm.

Debuffs to Track

• Major: Locust Swarm
• Minor: Acid Spit
• Enrages to Soothe: (8269)
