Best for players level 13-18.
Bosses
Below are guides for the bosses in Ragefire Chasm, including their abilities, healer notes, and addon settings.
Oggleflint
- Accompanied by a Ragefire Trogg and Ragefire Shaman.
- Ragefire Shaman
- Interrupt Healing Wave to prevent the healing.
- Ragefire Shaman
- Hits the tank and the player closest to the tank with Cleave.
Healing Notes
- Be prepared to heal the non-tank player being hit by Cleave, likely a melee DPS.
Debuffs to Track
- There are no particular debuffs that need to be tracked.
Taragaman the Hungerer
Healing Notes
- Be prepared to heal melee players when Fire Nova is cast.
Debuffs to Track
- There are no particular debuffs that need to be tracked.
Jergosh the Invoker
- Accompanied by two Burning Blade Cultists.
- Burning Blade Cultist
- Dispel Curse of Agony (curse) to prevent the light damage over time.
- Burning Blade Cultist
- Dispel Immolate (magic) to prevent the light damage over time.
- Dispel Curse of Weakness (curse) from physical damage dealers to remove the reduced physical damage dealt effect.
Healing Notes
- Not a particularly difficult encounter once the accompanying adds are killed.
Debuffs to Track
- Major: Curse of Weakness (dispel, curse)
- Minor: Immolate (dispel, magic)
Bazzalan
- Accompanied by two Burning Blade Cultists.
- Burning Blade Cultist
- Dispel Curse of Agony (curse) to prevent the light damage over time.
- Burning Blade Cultist
- The tank will be dealing with Sinister Strike.
- Dispel Poison (poison), targeted on random players.
Healing Notes
- The tank will be taking heavy damage throughout the encounter.
Debuffs to Track
- Minor: Poison (dispel, poison)
Zelemar the Wrathful
- Zelemar is summoned by Paladins as part of a class quest line.
- Old data doesn't show any special abilities, but this will be updated as necessary.
Trash Mobs
Below are notes for the trash mobs in Ragefire Chasm. Ragefire Chasm has a relatively linear layout. The trash below is ordered as if you're completing the bosses in the order they're listed above.
Entrance thru Oggleflint
- Ragefire Shaman
- Interrupt Healing Wave to prevent the healing.
Oggleflint thru Taragaman
- Earthborer
- Applies stacks of Earthborer Acid to the tank, reducing armor.
- Molten Elemental
- Purge Fire Shield to prevent the damage dealt to players within 20-yards.
- Searing Blade Enforcer
- Stay at least 5-yards away to avoid Shield Slam.
- Searing Blade Clutist
- Dispel Curse of Agony (curse) to prevent the light damage over time.
Taragaman thru Jergosh

Jergosh thru Bazzalan
