 Bosses

Below are guides for the bosses in Gnomeregan, including their abilities, healer notes, and addon settings.

Grubbis Dungeon Journal Model Grubbis

Grubbis is spawned at the end of an event you begin by talking to Blastmaster Emi Shortfuse. After fighting several waves of enemies from the two caves, Grubbis will emerge as the final wave.

  • There are no particular abilities to know about on this encounter.

 Healing Notes

  • The difficulty in this encounter comes from the event beforehand. Depending on the DPS capabilities of your group, you may not have time to regain mana between enemy waves.
 Debuffs to Track
  • There are no particular debuffs to track.

Viscous Fallout Dungeon Journal Model Viscous Fallout

  • There are no particular abilities to know about on this encounter.

 Healing Notes

  • This should be a pretty straightforward encounter as long as you've cleared out a large enough area to avoid aggroing additional enemies.
 Debuffs to Track
  • There are no particular debuffs to track.

Electrocutioner 6000 Dungeon Journal Model Electrocutioner 6000

  • Interrupt Chain Bolt to prevent the damage dealt to players.
  • Don't stand in front of the boss when Megavolt is cast to avoid the damage.
  • Targets random players with Shock.

 Healing Notes

  • Keep player health high to avoid deaths from Shock.
  • Be prepared to heal the damage from Chain Bolt if you don't have a lot of interrupts in your group.
 Debuffs to Track
  • There are no particular debuffs to track.

Crowd Pummeler 9-60 Dungeon Journal Model Crowd Pummeler 9-60

  • Don't stand in front of the boss to avoid damage from Arcing Smash.
  • Stay at least 10-yards away from the boss during Crowd Pummel to avoid the damage and interrupt.
  • Additionally, stay 10-yards away to avoid the damage from Trample

 Healing Notes

  • Be prepared to heal melee DPS frequently due to the hard to avoid melee range mechanics.
 Debuffs to Track
  • There are no particular debuffs to track.

Mekgineer Thermaplugg Dungeon Journal Model Mekgineer Thermaplugg

  • The tank will be dealing with Knock Away.
  • Targets random melee players with Pound.
  • Targets random ranged players with Steam Blast.
  • Interrupt or dispel Welding Beam (magic) to prevent the damage over time.

 Healing Notes

  • Be prepared to heal random players affected by the various mechanics of the fight.

 Trash Mobs

Below are notes for the trash mobs in Gnomeregan. Gnomeregan has a relatively linear layout. The trash below is ordered as if you're completing the bosses in the order they're listed above.

Entrance thru Grubbis

  • There are no particular mob abilities to know about in this section.

Grubbis thru Viscous Fallout

  • Corrosive Lurker
    • Dispel Corrosive Ooze (magic) from physical damage deals to prevent the reduced damage dealt.
  • Irradiated Horror
    • Dispel Poison (poison) to prevent the damage dealt over time.
  • Irradiated Pillager
    • Dispel Frenzy (enrage) to prevent the increased attack speed.
    • Dispel Irradiated (disease) to prevent the damage dealt to nearby players.
      • If no dispel is available, when affected move at least 5-yards away from other players.
  • Irradiated Slime
    • Stay at least 8-yards away to avoid the constant damage from Radiation Cloud.
    • Interrupt Toxic Nova (dispel, poison) to prevent the damage over time effect being applied to all players.

Viscous Fallout thru Crowd Pummeler 9-60

  • Leprous Machinesmith
    • Interrupt Supercharge to prevent the increased attack speed and damage dealt on mechanical enemies.
    • Interrupt or purge Tune Up to prevent the increased attack speed and damage dealt.
  • Mechano-Flamewalker
    • Stay at least 10-yards away to avoid damage from Fire Nova.
    • Don't stand in front to avoid damage from Flame Spray.
  • Mechano-Frostwalker
    • Avoid the impact locations of Hail Storm.
    • Deals damage to nearby players and roots them in place with Frost Nova (dispel, magic).
  • Mobile Alert System
    • Must be killed quickly to prevent calling in Mechanized Guardians.

Crowd Pummeler 9-60 thru Electrocutioner 6000

  • This area includes Mobile Alert System, detailed above.
  • Leprous Defender
  • Leprous Technician
    • Interrupt Supercharge to prevent the increased attack speed and damage dealt on mechanical enemies.
    • Interrupt or purge Tune Up to prevent the increased attack speed and damage dealt.
  • Peacekeeper Suite
    • Dispel Pacify (magic) to remove the unable to attack effect.
    • Targets random players with Net, rooting them in place.

Electrocutioner 6000 thru Mekgineer Thermaplugg

  • This area includes Mobile Alert Systems, detailed above.
  • Mechanized Guardian
    • Targets random players with Electrified Net, dealing light damage over time and rooting them in place.
  • Arcane Nullifier X-21
    • Removes harmful effects on enemies using Mass Nullify.
    • Reflects magic damage on itself and nearby enemies using Reflection Field.
      • Be prepared to heal magic damage users during this if they have damage over time effects they can't stop.
    • Dispel Slow (magic) to remove the reduced attack speed and cast time effect.
  • Dark Iron Agent
