This guide has been updated and maintained based on my own experiences as well as Dungeon Journal information. I'll continue to update it as-needed.
Bosses
Below are guides for the bosses in Waycrest Manor, including their abilities, healer notes, and addon settings.
Heartsbane Triad
- Focus damage on the boss that's currently holding Focusing Iris to force them to drop it before they reach 100% energy.
- If any boss reaches 100% energy, Dark Ritual will deal heavy damage to the group.
Sister Briar
- When Briar holds the Focusing Iris:
- Interrupt Bramble Bolt.
- On Heroic, Aura of Thorns deals damage to players when they hit Briar.
- Heal players affected by Jagged Nettles above 90% health to remove the effect.
Sister Malady
- When Malady holds the Focusing Iris:
- Interrupt Ruinous Bolt.
- On Heroic, move periodically to remove the stacking damage over time effect from Aura of Dread.
- When affected by Unstable Runic Mark, move at least 6-yards away from other players to prevent dealing extra damage when the effect expires.
Sister Solena
- When Solena holds the Focusing Iris:
- Interrupt Soul Bolt.
- On Heroic, all healing effects are reduced by 50% from Aura of Apathy.
- Damage the player affected by Soul Manipulation (dispel, purge) to remove the effect.
Healing Notes
- Use Cooldowns on Aura of Thorns or Aura of Apathy.
- Watch for players with high stacks of Aura of Dread.
Debuffs to Track
- Major: Jagged Nettles, Soul Manipulation
- Minor: Aura of Dread
- Buffs to Purge: Soul Manipulation
Addons
Soulbound Goliath
- The tank will be dealing with Crush.
- Soulbound Goliath gains a stack Soul Harvest every 2-seconds, increasing its damage dealt.
- Kill Soul Thorns to free the impaled player.
- Avoid the impact locations of Wildfire.
- Soulbound Goliath should be moved onto the fires to give it Burning Bush and remove stacks of Soul Harvest.
- On Heroic, run away from the Burning Souls that spawn.
- These appear to have an aggro table and will likely target the healer as they're not directly targetable to be damaged or taunted.
- On Heroic, run away from the Burning Souls that spawn.
- Soulbound Goliath should be moved onto the fires to give it Burning Bush and remove stacks of Soul Harvest.
Healing Notes
- Use Cooldowns on Burning Bush, or if Soul Harvest stacks are high enough to warrant them.
- Watch for players affected by Soul Thorns.
Debuffs to Track
- Minor: Soul Thorns
Addons
Raal the Gluttonous
- The tank should stay by Raal at all times to avoid Consume All being cast.
- Don't be in front of Raal when he turns to cast Tenderize.
- Call Servant summons Wasting Servants.
- Prevent these from reaching Raal to avoid him gaining stacks of Consume Servant.
- These are susceptible to stuns, snares, knock backs, and other crowd control.
- Avoid the impact locations of Rotten Explosion.
- On Heroic, each impact spawns a Bile Oozling.
- When killed, avoid the Bile Explosion areas these create.
- On Heroic, each impact spawns a Bile Oozling.
Healing Notes
- Use Cooldowns on Tenderize as-needed, as it can become difficult to avoid when room is full of Rotten Explosion.
Debuffs to Track
- There are no particular debuffs that need to be tracked on this fight.
Addons
Lord and Lady Waycrest
During this fight, players will begin by fighting Lord Waycrest directly. When Lady Waycrest reaches 10% health, she will join the fight, as detailed below.
Lord Waycrest
- The tank will be dealing with Wasting Strike.
- When affected by Virulent Pathogen (dispel, disease), move away from other players before it expires or is dispelled.
- On Heroic, avoid the Contagious Remnants pools this leaves behind.
- When Lord Waycrest reaches 10% health, Lady Waycrest heals him to full health using Vitality Transfer and grants him a stack of Putrid Vitality.
- This will happen three times before Lady Waycrest joins the fight and can be attacked directly.
Lady Waycrest
- Lady Waycrest is untargetable for most of the fight, and will be at the back of the room playing her organ.
- Targets random players with Wracking Chord.
- Avoid the impact locations of Discordant Cadenza.
- After three uses of Vitality Transfer, when at 10% health, Lady Waycrest will join the fight and be attackable.
Healing Notes
- Be aware of the steadily increasing damage from Putrid Vitality as the fight goes on.
Debuffs to Track
- Minor: Virulent Pathogen (dispel, disease)
Addons
Gorak Tul
- Periodically summons Deathtouch Slavers.
- These must be killed.
- Stay at least 5-yards away from other players to avoid extra damage from Dark Leap.
- Stuns random players with Death Lens and deals heavy damage over time.
- This should be interrupted with knock backs.
- Walk over the Alchemical Fire bottles, then use the Extra Action Button to throw the bottle at Deathtouch Slaver corpses.
- Interrupt Darkened Lightning.
- At 100% energy, Dread Essence deals moderate damage to all players and resurrects any Deathtouch Slavers not burned by Alchemical Fire.
Healing Notes
- Watch for players affected by Death Lens.

Trash Mobs
Below are notes for the trash mobs in Waycrest Manor. Waycrest Manor has a relatively open layout and I've grouped the trash based on the different "wings" of the dungeon.
Heartsbane Triad Wing
This wing generally includes the left-side of the instance, based on the map.
- Enthralled Guard
- Don't stand in front of these to avoid Shadow Cleave.
- Runic Disciple
- Dispel Spellbind (curse).
- Interrupt Spectral Talisman (dispel, purge) to prevent the reduced damage taken.
- Blight Toad
- Avoid the poison detonation these leave behind when killed.
- Thistle Acolyte
- Interrupt Bone Splinter to prevent the damage over time on the tank.
- Bewitched Captain
- Interrupt Spirited Defense (dispel, purge) to prevent the damage reduction effect.
- Heartsbane Vinetwister
- Interrupt or dispel Grasping Thorns (magic).
- Heartsbane Soulcharmer
- Interrupt Soul Volley to prevent the damage dealt to the group.
- Keep enemies out of the Warding Candles to prevent the reduced damage taken.
- Heartsbane Runeweaver
- Don't stand in front of these to avoid Marking Cleave (dispel, curse).
- Interrupt Etch.
Soulbound Goliath Wing
This wing generally includes the center courtyard between the left and right of the instance, based on the map.
- Avoid the random lightning strikes and resulting fire patches.
- Coven Thornshaper
- Avoid the Uproot vine patches on the ground.
- Interrupt Effigy Reconstruction to prevent the healing on nearby enemies.
- Interrupt or dispel Infected Thorn (disease).
- Interrupt or dispel Soul Fetish (purge), or upon death it empowers a nearby enemy.
- Thornguard
- Dispel Enrage (enrage).
- Applies stacks of Tearing Strike to the tank.
- Stay away when these die to avoid Shatter.
- Matron Bryndle
- Avoid the impact locations of Splinter Spike.
- Targets the tank with Thorned Barrage.
- Interrupt or dispel Soul Fetish (purge), or upon death it empowers a nearby enemy.
- This wing includes Enthralled Guards and Bewitched Captains, detailed above.
Raal the Gluttonous Wing
This wing generally includes the right-side of the instance, based on the map.
- Infected Peasant
- Infected causes these to spawn four Devouring Maggots upon death.
- Devouring Maggot
- Pallid Gorger
- Don't stand in front of these to avoid Retch.
- Targets the furthest player away with Ravaging Leap, causing all nearby players to take damage over time.
- Banquet Steward
- Interrupt or move away from Dinner Bell to avoid the Silence effect.
- This wing includes Heartsbane Runeweaver, detailed above.
Lord and Lady Waycrest Wing
This wing generally includes anything in the cellar and sub-cellar levels, anything below the floor with Raal and the Triad.
- Coven Diviner
- Dispel Fragment Soul (magic) to minimize the number of fragments available when Consume Fragments is cast.
- Interrupt or dispel Soul Fetish (purge), or upon death it empowers a nearby enemy.
- Marked Sister
- Interrupt or move 5-yards away from other players when affected by Runic Mark (dispel, curse).
- Interrupt or dispel Soul Fetish (purge), or upon death it empowers a nearby enemy.
- Matron Alma
- Applies Decaying Touch (dispel, magic) to the tank, increasing damage taken.
- When affected by Dread Mark (dispel, curse), move at least 5-yards away from other players.
- Interrupt Ruinous Volley to prevent the damage dealt to the group.
- Interrupt or dispel Soul Fetish (purge), or upon death it empowers a nearby enemy.
- Gloom Leaper
- Targets the furthest player away with Dark Leap, dealing moderate damage and knocking back nearby players.
- This wing includes Enthralled Guard and Bewitched Captain, and Heartsbane Soulcharmer, detailed above.
Trash Debuffs to Track
- Major: Spellbind (dispel, curse), Grasping Thorns (dispel, magic), Decaying Touch (dispel, magic), Fragment Soul (dispel, magic).
- Minor: Spit, Infected Thorn (dispel, disease), Thorned Barrage, Tearing Strike, Shatter, Marking Cleave (dispel, curse), Etch, Runic Mark (dispel, curse), Dread Mark (dispel, curse)
- Enrages to Dispel: Enrage
- Buffs to Purge: Soul Fetish, Spirited Defense, Spectral Talisman
Trash Addons
Mythic+ Notes
In this section you'll find notes about certain interactions bosses and trash mobs have with the Mythic+ difficulty increase or certain affixes that make them more troublesome than normal.
Trash Mobs
- During Bolstering and Teeming, be extra careful to not pull extra trash groups, especially in the tight hallways inside the manor.
- Heartsbane Vinetwister, Heartsbane Soulcharmer, Heartsbane Runeweaver, Matron Bryndle, and Matron Alma
- These almost become mini-bosses with Fortified and have the potential to deal heavy damage to the tank and the group.
