Kings' Rest, Healer Guide
Updated 3 years, 3 months ago for patch 8.3 by Preston. View the change log.
This page covers healer-focused strategies for the Kings' Rest dungeon. While it's tailored for healers, other roles may also find the information useful. If you have any suggestions or feedback, you can leave a comment below or tweet @PrestonDvorak.
This guide has been updated and maintained based on my own experiences as well as Dungeon Journal information. I'll continue to update it as-needed.
Bosses
Below are guides for the bosses in Kings' Rest, including their abilities, healer notes, and addon settings.
The Golden Serpent
- The tank will be dealing with Tail Thrash.
- When Serpentine Gust is being cast, stay 15-yards away from the boss.
- When affected by Spit Gold, move away from the group and the boss to drop the resulting Molten Gold pool.
- These pools should be grouped together to make managing them easier.
- Lucre's Call turns all Molten Gold pools into Animated Gold.
- Kill the Animated Golds before they reach The Golden Serpent and grant it a stack of Luster.
Healing Notes
- Use Cooldowns if the boss gains high stacks of Luster.
