Resto Druid Enchants, Gems, Consumables

Patch 7.3 Updated
September 12, 2017

Below you'll find information on the gems, enchants, and consumables you should be using as a Restoration Druid. Most of them are straightforward and align with our Stat Priority.

If you have any questions or feedback, you can leave a comment below or contact me on Twitter @PrestonDvorak.

Enchants

Neck

Mark of the Ancient Priestess  and Mark of the Trained Soldier are strong options for any type of content
Mark of the Claw can be nice if you're also needing to DPS a lot
Mark of the Quick is a cheaper alternative

Cloak

Binding of Intellect
Word of Intellect as a cheaper alternative

Rings

Large-group Healing

I recommend these enchants if you're primarily healing groups that are 10-players  or larger (i.e. raid content).

Binding of Haste
Word of Haste as a cheaper alternative

Small-group Healing

I recommend these enchants if you're primarily healing groups smaller than 10-players (i.e. Mythic+ dungeons).

Binding of Mastery
Word of Mastery as a cheaper alternative

Gems

In all cases, you should use one Saber's Eye of Intellect. The other epic gems that grant 200 of a secondary stat are okay options, but still weaker than 200 intellect.

Large-group Healing

I recommend these gems if you're primarily healing groups that are 10-players or larger (i.e. raid content).

Quick Lightsphene
Quick Dawnlight as a cheaper alternative
Quick Azsunite as the cheapest option

Small-group Healing

I recommend these gems if you're primarily healing groups smaller than 10-players (i.e. Mythic+ dungeons).

Masterful Argulite
Masterful Shadowruby as a cheaper alternative
Masterful Queen's Opal as the cheapest option

Consumables

Flask

Flask of the Whispered Pact

Food

In any situation, the following feasts are best, but if you don't have access to the feasts, I've included individual options further below.

Lavish Suramar Feast
Hearty Feast as a cheaper option

Large-group Healing

I recommend this food if you're primarily healing groups that are 10-players or larger (i.e. raid content).

Azshari Salad
Suramar Surf and Turf as the second cheapest option
Deep-Fried Mossgill as the cheapest option

Small-group Healing

I recommend this food if you're primarily healing groups smaller than 10-players (i.e. Mythic+ dungeons).

Nightborne Delicacy Platter
Barracuda Mrglgagh as the second cheapest option
Pickled Stormray as the cheapest option

Mana Potion

Leytorrent Potion on encounters with enough downtime to make full use of it
Ancient Mana Potion on encounters with no reliable downtime, or as a cheaper alternative

Health Potion

Ancient Healing Potion
Healthstone (created by Warlocks)

Augment Rune

Lightforged Augment Rune / Defiled Augment Rune

Optional

Use a Potion of Prolonged Power ~1 second before an encounter starts to help DPS before healing is needed. Alternatively, you can also use this during an encounter for a boost to your throughput if you won't need to use a mana potion.
