General Mechanics and Abilities

During this encounter, players will be alternating between the two stages every ~45-seconds.

All Stages

• After 10-minutes, Enrages, greatly increasing damage dealt.

Stage One - Make Way for the Nalorakk!

• The tanks will be dealing with several abilities.
  • The tank with bleed effects from stage two should not tank the boss during this stage.
  • Splitting the heavy damage from Brutal Swipe.
  • The stacking increased damage taken from bleeds effect from Mangle.
• Stay more than 10-yards away from other players to avoid chaining the damage and knock back from Surge.

Stage Two - Calling on the Beast

• The tanks will be dealing with several abilities.
  • The tank affected by Mangle should not tank the boss during this stage.
  • Moderate damage over time from Rend Flesh.
  • Light damage over time from Lacerating Slash.
• Deals light damage to and silences all players with Deafening Roar.

• Players generally won't make use of any additional Resistances on this encounter.

The notes below mostly pertain to progression difficulty, meaning if you out-gear the encounter or use extra healers they may not apply.

• Use Cooldowns
  
  • As-needed to keep the tanks alive.
• Other things to watch for
  • Keep the tanks near full health during stage two to ensure they survive while healers are silenced by Deafening Roar.

Debuffs to Track

Major

• Rend Flesh causes tanks to need moderate healing over time.

Minor

• Lacerating Slash causes tanks to need light healing over time.
