Prince Malchezaar, Healer Guide
Posted 11 months, 3 weeks ago for patch 2.5.1 by Preston.
This page covers a healer-focused strategy for Prince Malchezaar in Karazhan in The Burning Crusade. While it's tailored for healers, other roles may also find the information useful. If you have any suggestions or feedback, you can leave a comment below or tweet @PrestonDvorak.
This guide has been updated and maintained based on my own experiences with the encounter, combat log information, and Dungeon Journal information. I'll continue to update it as-needed.

Healing Notes
Quick Notes
The notes below mostly pertain to progression difficulty, meaning if you out-gear the encounter or use extra healers they may not apply.
- Use Cooldowns
- as-needed to keep the tanks alive, especially during stage two
- as-needed during stage three
- Other things to watch for
- Due to Netherspite Infernals, you may need to coordinate movement with the group to keep everyone in range to be healed.
Debuffs to Track
Major
Sunder Armor causes the tanks to need additional healing.
Amplify Damage can cause players to need additional healing.
Minor
Shadow Word: Pain (dispel, magic) should be dispelled when possible.
