Sethekk Halls, Healer Guide

 Bosses

Below are guides for the bosses in Sethekk Halls, including their abilities, healer notes, and addon settings.

Darkweaver Syth Dungeon Journal Model Darkweaver Syth

  • Interrupt Chain Lightning to prevent the chaining damage dealt.
  • Several abilities should be dispelled to prevent the light damage over time.
  • Deals light damage to random players with Frost Shock (dispel, magic).
  • At 90%, 55%, and 10% health, spawns a set of four elementals, one of each noted below.
    • Syth Fire Elemental
      • Immune to fire damage and effects.
      • Targets random players with Flame Buffet (dispel, magic), dealing light damage and increasing fire damage taken.
    • Syth Frost Elemental
      • Immune to frost damage and effects.
      • Targets random players with Flame Buffet (dispel, magic), dealing light damage and increasing frost damage taken.
    • Syth Arcane Elemental
      • Immune to arcane damage and effects.
      • Targets random players with Arcane Buffet (dispel, magic), dealing light damage and increasing arcane damage taken.
    • Syth Shadow Elemental
      • Immune to shadow damage and effects.
      • Targets random players with Shadow Buffet (dispel, magic), dealing light damage and increasing shadow damage taken.

 Healing Notes

  • Killing the Syth Elementals before their respective debuffs get out of control will make healing this fight much easier.
  • If no magic dispel is available, be prepared for the extra healing on players affected by Syth's damage over time effects.

Talon King Ikiss Dungeon Journal Model Talon King Ikiss

  • Dispel Polymorph (magic) to remove the incapacitating effect.
  • Dispel Slow (magic) to remove the decreased attack speed, cast time, and movement speed effect.
  • Purge [Mana Shield] (Need Spell ID) to remove the damage absorption effect.
  • Deals moderate damage to all players with Arcane Volley.
  • At 80%, 55%, and 25% health, after teleporting to a random player, break line of sight on Ikiss to avoid the fatal damage from Arcane Explosion.

 Healing Notes

  • Be prepared for players to be out of range or line of sight when avoiding Arcane Explosion.
 Debuffs to Track
  • Major: Polymorph (dispel, magic), Slow (dispel, magic)
  • Buffs to Purge: [Mana Shield] (Need Spell ID)
 Addons

Anzu Dungeon Journal Model Anzu

Can be summoned on Heroic difficulty by a Druid with Essence-Infused Moonstone, obtained as part of their epic flight form questline during the Eternal Vigilance quest.

  • The tank will be dealing with Flesh Rip, dealing moderate damage over time.
  • Dispel Spell Bomb (curse) to prevent the damage and mana drain effect when casting spells.
  • Targets random players with Cyclone of Feathers, incapacitating them and making them immune to all damage, healing, and other effects.
  • Stuns all players with Paralyzing Screech.
  • At 75% and 35% health, becomes immune to damage and summons several Brood of Anzu.
    • Brood of Anzu
      • Reduce attack power of players within 5-yards with Screech

 Trash Mobs

Below are notes for the trash mobs in Sethekk Halls. Sethekk Halls is a relatively linear dungeon. The trash below is ordered as if you're completing the bosses in the order they're listed above.

Entrance thru Darkweaver Syth

  • Sethekk Guard
    • Stay at least 10-yards away to avoid Thunder Clap (dispel, magic).
  • Sethekk Initiate
  • Avian Darkhawk
    • The tank will be dealing with Carnivorous Bite, dealing light damage over time.
    • Targets random players with Sonic Charge, dealing light damage and knocking back.
  • Time-Lost Controller
    • Dispel Shrink (curse) to remove the reduced strength and stamina effect.
    • Summons a Charming Totem which mind-controls a player until the Totem is killed.
  • Sethekk Oracle
    • Interrupt Arcane Lightning (dispel, magic) to prevent the chaining light damage dealt and silence effect.
    • Dispel Faerie Fire (magic) to remove the reduced armor effect.

Darkweaver Syth thru Talon King Ikiss

  • Sethekk Ravenguard
    • Stay at least 10-yards away to avoid Howling Screech (dispel, magic).
    • Soothe Frenzy to remove the increased attack speed and physical damage dealt.
    • Melee attacks heal while Bloodthirst is active.
  • Avian Ripper
    • The tank will be dealing with Flesh Rip, dealing light damage over time.
  • Cobalt Serpent
  • Time-Lost Scryer
  • Sethekk Prophet
    • Interrupt or dispel Fear (magic) to prevent the fear effect.
      • This may lead to a temporary threat drop if the tank is affected.
    • Upon death, avoid the Sethekk Spirit left behind.
  • Sethekk Shaman
    • Stay at least 20-yards away to avoid the interrupt from Earth Shock.
    • Summons Dark Vortexes.
      • Dark Vortex
        • Interrupt Shadow Bolt to prevent the light damage dealt.
  • Avian Warhawk
    • The tank will be dealing with Carnivorous Bite, dealing light damage over time.
  • Time-Lost Shadowmage
  • Sethekk Talon Lord
