This guide has been updated and maintained based on my own experiences as well as Dungeon Journal and combat log information. I'll continue to update it as-needed.
Bosses
Below are guides for the bosses in De Other Side, including their abilities, healer notes, and addon settings.
Hakkar the Soulflayer
- The tank will be dealing with
Piercing Barb.
Blood Barrier deals moderate damage to all players and Sons of Hakkar, granting Hakkar a damage absorption shield equal to the damage dealt and making him immune to interrupts while the shield is active.
- Avoid the impact locations of
Blood Barrage
- Interrupt the channeled cast as soon as the damage shield is depleted.
- Avoid the impact locations of
- Stay at least 7-yards away from other players to prevent the spread of
Corrupted Blood.
- Son of Hakkar will periodically join the encounter.
- Son of Hakkar
- Fixate on random players with
Zealous.
- Deal steadily increasing damage to all players with
Blood Nova.
- Upon death, avoid the
Spilled Essence pool.
- The pool gradually shrinks while healing the Son of Hakkar that spawned it. The Son of Hakkar will become active again at full health.
- On Mythic, the pool no longer shrinks.

The Manastorms
During this encounter, players will alternate between fighting a Manastorm in the arena while the other assaults from afar.
Stage One - Millhouse's Magics
During this stage, Millhouse is in the arena with Millificent on the sidelines.
- Millhouse Manastorm
- Interrupt
Frostbolt to prevent the damage dealt, especially while
Chilled Heart is active.
- Intercept the
Power Overwhelming beams coming from the Power Crystals to Millhouse.
- The player(s) intercepting the beams take steadily increasing damage over time while gaining a stacking damage dealt increase.
- Each second the beam hits Millhouse,
Overwhelming Power! deals light damage to all players and grants him a stacking damage dealt buff.
- On Mythic,
Diabolical Dooooooom! deals critical damage to all players over 15-seconds.
- To interrupt this, Millhouse should be stunned with the
Echo Finger Laser X-treme beam, detailed below.

- Targets random players with
Throw Buzz-Saw, dealing moderate damage and applying a stack of
Bleeding, dealing further light damage over time.
- On Mythic, when targeted by
Echo Finger Laser X-treme, stand so Millhouse is between you and another targeted player to stun him with
Eruption, interrupting
Diabolical Dooooooom!.
- Targets random players with
Stage Two - Millificent's Gadgets
During this stage, Millificent is in the arena with Millhouse on the sidelines.
- Millificent Manastorm
- The tank will be dealing with
Buzz-Saw and stacks of
Bleeding.
- Dismantle
Experimental Squirrel Bombs by right-clicking on them to prevent the moderate damage dealt to all players when they detonate.
- Dismantling a Bomb spawns several
Mechanical Bomb Squirrels that deal light damage to random players.

- On Mythic,
Aerial Rocket Chicken Barrage deals moderate damage over time to all players.
- The tank will be dealing with
- Millhouse Manastorm
- Targets random players with
Frostbolt.
- On Mythic, when targeted by
Shadowfury, move within 8-yards of Millificent to stun her, this is especially important to interrupt
Aerial Rocket Chicken Barrage.
- Targets random players with
Healing Notes
- The player(s) absorbing
Power Overwhelming may need an external defensive cooldown to survive the damage.
- Use minor cooldowns as-needed if
Experimental Squirrel Bombs aren't dismantled or if
Bleeding stacks get too high.
- On Mythic, use major cooldowns to survive the initial ticks of
Aerial Rocket Chicken Barrage.

Addons
Dealer Xy'exa
- Avoid the locations of
Displacement Traps.
- Hitting a trap deals light damage to all players within 10-yards and teleports the triggering player 25-yards into the air.
- When affected by
Localized Explosive Contrivance, run over a
Displacement Trap to be teleported in the air just before the effect expires to avoid damaging all players.
- If the affected player doesn't trigger a trap properly, all players gain a stack of
Localized Explosive Contrivance, dealing light damage over time.
- If the affected player doesn't trigger a trap properly, all players gain a stack of
- Just before
Explosive Contrivance finishes casting, run over a
Displacement Trap to be teleported into the air to avoid the moderate damage.
- Any player that doesn't trigger a trap properly also gains a stack of
Explosive Contrivance, dealing light damage over time.
- Any player that doesn't trigger a trap properly also gains a stack of
- Avoid the path of
Displaced Blastwave beams from portals spawned near random players.
- On Mythic, targets a random player with
Arcane Lightning, dealing light damage over time and applying stacks of
Arcane Vulnerability.
- Upon expiring, this jumps to the next closest player.

- Use cooldowns as-needed to make sure players have enough health to survive triggering a
Displacement Trap.

Mueh'zala
During this encounter, players alternate between the two stages as they work to free Bwonsamdi.
Stage One - The Master of Death
This stage begins the encounter and ends when Shatter Reality is cast and players travel through
Deathgates. This stage begins again after 25-seconds in stage two.
- The tank will be dealing with
Soulcrusher, which deals heavy damage over time from
Crushed Soul.
- Dispel
Cosmic Artifice (magic) and avoid the
Cosmic Collapse left behind.
- If this expires instead of being dispelled,
Unbound Cosmos deals light damage to all players.
- On Mythic, this is applied to four players at once and you should aim to dispel it from as many players as possible.
- If this expires instead of being dispelled,
- Avoid the sequence of areas hit by
Master of Death.
- There are three areas that will be hit: Left, Right, and Melee (as you're facing the boss).
- Each area will only be hit once per sequence.
- The area to be hit is dictated by which hand Mueh'zala is casting with, if both hands are casting, the Melee area will be hit.
- If no players are within melee range,
Crush deals heavy damage to all players.
- Additionally, any players not on the same platform as Mueh'zala take heavy damage over time from
Stellar Cloud.
- Additionally, any players not on the same platform as Mueh'zala take heavy damage over time from
- When
Shatter Reality is cast, run into one of the
Deathgates spawned on either side of Mueh'zala or near the stairways.
- As a healer, you should generally take the same portal as the tank.
Stage Two - Shattered Reality
This stage begins when players travel through the Deathgates and ends after 25-seconds. It begins again each time players travel through the
Deathgates.
- Players have 25-seconds to interact with Mueh'zala's Primeval Grasp totems before
Coalescing pulls them back to reality.
- Each totem is guarded by a Shattered Visage.
- Shattered Visage
- Avoid the locations of
Cosmic Artifice, similar to stage one.
- Deals light damage to all players with
Shattered Dominion.
- Avoid the locations of
- Shattered Visage
- Once the Shattered Visage is killed, interacting with the nearby totem triggers
Mojo Infusion.
- Deals 20% of Mueh'zala's health as damage with
Bwonsamdi's Fury.
- Grants players a stack of
Bwonsamdi's Fervor, increasing haste and movement speed.
- Deals 20% of Mueh'zala's health as damage with
- Each totem is guarded by a Shattered Visage.
Healing Notes
- The tank may need external defensive cooldowns to survive

Below are notes for the trash mobs in De Other Side. De Other Side has a relatively open layout with the choice of what order to clear the first three wings. The trash below is grouped based on the different wings that are available.
Central Wing
- Risen Cultist
- Interrupt or avoid the locations of
Dark Lotus.

Undying Rage (enrage) to remove the increased damage dealt effect and allow the mob to be killed.

Sludgegrab, pulling them into melee range and rooting them in place.

- Being hit by the sludge will knock the player off the walkway, killing them.
Dealer Xy'exa's Wing (Hidden Glade)
- Avoid the impact locations of
Malefic Blast being shot from the walls of the first hallway.
- Weald Shimmermoth
- Dispel
Soporific Shimmerdust (curse) to prevent the accumulation of
Soporific Shimmerdust (dispel, curse) stacks.
- Players can jump to remove stacks of
Soporific Shimmerdust.
- At 10 stacks, the affected player is put to sleep by
Shimmerdust Sleep (dispel, magic).
