Shadowfang Keep, Healer Guide

Updated 4 months, 1 week ago for patch 1.13 by Preston. View the change log.

This page covers healer-focused strategies for the Shadowfang Keep dungeon. While it's tailored for healers, other roles may also find the information useful. If you have any suggestions or feedback, you can leave a comment below or tweet @PrestonDvorak.

This guide has been updated and maintained based on my own experiences as well as Dungeon Journal information. I'll continue to update it as-needed.

Best for players level 22-30.

 Trash Mobs

Below are notes for the trash mobs in Shadowfang Keep. Shadowfang Keep has a pretty linear layout. The trash below is ordered as if you're completing the bosses in the order they're listed above.

Currently, trash information is sparse and not in order. More structure will be given as I find information or when I have the chance to run the dungeon myself when Classic is released.

  • Shadowfang Whitescalp
    • Dispel the tank and melee DPS affected by Frost Armor (magic).
  • Shadowfang Moonwalker
  • Shadowfang Darksoul
  • Shadowfang Woldguard
    • Interrupt Dark Restore to prevent the healing on the pets.
  • Son of Arugal
    • Interrupt or dispel Arugal's Gift (curse) to prevent the damage over time.
  • Bleak Worg
    • Dispel Wavering Will (magic) to prevent the reduced attack speed and cast speed.
  • Lupine Horror
  • Haunted Servitor
  • Wailing Guardsman
  • Tormented Officer
    • Interrupt or dispel Forsaken Ability (curse) to prevent the ability point reduction.
