Scarlet Monastery - Graveyard, Healer Guide

Updated 3 months, 4 weeks ago for patch 1.13 by Preston. View the change log.

This page covers healer-focused strategies for the Scarlet Monastery - Graveyard dungeon. While it's tailored for healers, other roles may also find the information useful. If you have any suggestions or feedback, you can leave a comment below or tweet @PrestonDvorak.

This guide has been updated and maintained based on my own experiences as well as Dungeon Journal information. I'll continue to update it as-needed.

Best for players level 26-36.

 Bosses

Below are guides for the bosses in Scarlet Monastery - Graveyard, including their abilities, healer notes, and addon settings.

Interrogator Vishas Dungeon Journal Model Interrogator Vishas

  • Dispel Immolate (magic) to prevent the damage over time.

 Healing Notes

  • Be aware of extra enemies in the room as they can make the encounter much more difficult if they're aggro'd.
 Debuffs to Track

Azshir the Sleepless Dungeon Journal Model Azshir the Sleepless

This is a Rare enemy and may not always be present.

  • Dispel Call of the Grave (curse) before it expires to prevent the heavy damage dealt.
    • If no dispel is available, be prepared to heal the damage when the effect expires.
  • Dispel Terrify (magic) to remove the Fear effect.
  • Interrupt or dispel Soul Siphon (magic) to prevent the healing.

 Healing Notes

  • This should be a pretty straightforward encounter as long as you've cleared out a large enough area to avoid aggroing additional enemies.
 Debuffs to Track

Fallen Champion Dungeon Journal Model Fallen Champion

This is a Rare enemy and may not always be present.

  • Hits the tank and the player closest to the tank with Cleave.
  • Will use Execute if the tank is below 20% health, dealing heavy damage.

 Healing Notes

  • Try to always keep the tank's health high to avoid Execute.
  • Be prepared to heal the non-tank player being hit by Cleave, likely a melee DPS.
 Debuffs to Track
  • There are no particular debuffs to track.

Ironspine Dungeon Journal Model Ironspine

This is a Rare enemy and may not always be present.

 Healing Notes

  • Be prepared to heal melee DPS frequently due to the hard to avoid melee range mechanics.
 Debuffs to Track

Bloodmage Thalnos Dungeon Journal Model Bloodmage Thalnos

  • Interrupt or avoid the impact location of Flame Spike and the resulting fire patch.
  • Stay 10-yards away to avoid damage from Fire Nova.

 Healing Notes

  • Be prepared to heal melee players hit by Fire Nova.
 Debuffs to Track
  • There are no particular debuffs to track.

 Trash Mobs

Below are notes for the trash mobs in Scarlet Monastery - Graveyard. Scarlet Monastery - Graveyard has a pretty open layout. The trash is roughly ordered as you'll encounter it.

  • Throughout the instance, Humanoid enemies will attempt to run away in fear when at low health. Be prepared to slow and snare them.

  • Scarlet Sentry
    • Stuns the tank with Backhand, possibly leading to threat generation issues.
  • Scarlet Scryer
  • Scarlet Torturer
    • Dispel Immolate (magic) to prevent the damage over time.

Interrogator Vishas thru Bloodmage Thalnos

 Trash Debuffs to Track
