Merektha Dungeon Journal Model Merektha

  • Avoid the impact locations of Noxious Breath and the resulting Toxic Pools.
  • Turn away from Merektha when Blinding Sand is cast.
  • During Burrow, avoid Merektha when she darts through the center of the room.
  • Eggs along the outside of the room will periodically Hatch.
    • This alternates spawning sets of four Venomous Ophidian or Sand-crusted Striker.
    • Avoid the Dust Clouds created by Sand-crusted Striker.
    • Venomous Ophidian deal damage to random players with Cytotoxin (dispel, poison)
  • On Heroic, players affected by A Knot of Snakes will need critical healing before the snakes are killed or stunned.

Healer DBM Settings for Merektha


Galvazzt Dungeon Journal Model Galvazzt

  • Energy Cores will periodically spawn around the room and channel Galvanized into Galvazzt, increasing his energy.
    • Players must stand between these and the boss to slow down the energy gain as much as possible.
    • Blocking the energy will deal steadily increasing damage from Galvanized.
  • At 100% energy, Consume Charge deals heavy damage to all players.
    • This grants Galvazzt a stack of Capacitance, increasing his damage done.
  • Induction periodically deals moderate damage to the group.

Avatar of Sethraliss Dungeon Journal Model Avatar of Sethraliss

During this fight, players will be fighting against various adds while the Heart of Sethraliss is suspended in the center of the room.

  • The Avatar of Sethraliss must be healed to full health to complete the encounter.
    • The Avatar can only be healed in chunks, first to 40%, then to 70%, then to 100%.
    • At each health break point, a new set of Hoodoo Hexers will spawn, halting healing.
  • Hoodoo Hexer
    • Channels Taint on the Avatar of Sethraliss, decreasing the healing it receives.
  • Heart Guardian
    • Applies Heart Attack to the tank, significantly increasing damage taken.
    • When killed, leaves behind an Energy Fragment.
      • Activate these to grant the Heart of Sethraliss Life Force, healing it for an additional amount each time it receives healing.
  • On Heroic, Plague Doctor
  • Avoid the Plague Toads summoned by Rain of Toads.
    • Being hit applies Plague (dispel, disease), reducing healing done and dealing stacking damage over time.
  • Pulse deals light damage over time to the group.
  • Avoid the impact locations of Cardiac Shock.

  • Use Cooldowns to heal the Avatar of Sethraliss when no Taint channels are active.

 Trash Mobs

Below are notes for the trash mobs in the Temple of Sethraliss. The Temple of Sethraliss has a relatively linear layout. The trash below is ordered as if you're completing the bosses in the order they're listed above. Some spells don't exist in the database and will be added as soon as they're available.

Entrance thru Aderis and Aspix

  • Charged Dust Devil
  • Sandswept Marksman
    • Targets random players with Power Shot, dealing damage to everyone caught between the enemy and the targeted player.
    • Dispel Neurotoxin (poison) to remove or prevent the sleep effect.
  • Sandfury Stonefist
  • Krolusk Pup
  • Korlusk Hatchling
    • Going near these will reveal a Shrouded Fang.
  • Shrouded Fang
    • Deal significant damage to the tank and melee with Blade Flurry

Aderis and Aspix thru Merektha

  • Scaled Krolusk Rider
    • Don't stand in front of these to avoid Noxious Breath (dispel, poison).
    • Deals damage to all players within 8-yards with Cleave.
    • Electrified Scales (dispel, purge) deals light to moderate damage to players.
  • Venomous Ophidian
  • Mature Krolusk
  • Scaled Krolusk Tamer
    • Deals damage to all players within 8-yards with Cleave.
    • Electrified Scales (dispel, purge) deals light to moderate damage to players.
  • Sand-crusted Striker
    • Dust Cloud breaks line of sight between players and enemies standing in or out of it.
  • Crazed Incubator
  • Faithless Tender
  • This area also includes Sandswept Marksman, detailed above.

Merektha thru Galvazzt

  • Agitated Nimbus
  • Imbued Stormcaller
  • Partway through, there is a lighting orb gauntlet. Avoid the orbs as you move through the area.
  • Static-charged Dervish
    • Targets random players with Electrocute.
    • Jumps to random players with Spark, dealing damage to all players within 5-yards.

Galvazzt thru Avatar of Sethraliss

  • This area begins with a two-part lightning orb gauntlet. Avoid the orbs as you did before while moving through the area.
  • The next area is a bit like a gauntlet.
    • Pick up one of the lightning orbs (Orb) from either side of the room and return it to the large snake skull in the back of the room to move on.
    • Faithless Conscripts will continually spawn.
    • Orb Guardians will steal the lightning orb from players, kill them to get it back.
    • Avoid the random lightning bold impact locations.
  • Hoodoo Hexer
  • Heart Guardian
    • Applies stacks of Heart Attack to the tank, increasing damage taken.
  • Plague Doctor

In this section you'll find notes about certain interactions bosses and trash mobs have with the Mythic+ difficulty increase or certain affixes that make them more troublesome than normal.

Trash Mobs

  • Sandfury StonefistShrouded FangScaled Krolusk Rider
    • Deal significant damage to the tank with Fortified.
  • Hoodoo Hexer
    • Can deal significant damage to the tank if interrupts and dispels are unavailable. with Fortified.
