In order to have more transparency about what's going on behind the scenes, I'm going to be doing monthly overviews of what was added and updated during the month. This can include content, back-end systems, and even things like marketing. These articles may be a little rough around the edges, but the goal is to get the point across without spending too much time editing the actual article (which means more time working on the stuff the article talks about).
During November of 2017, the following items were added or updated.
This year, I covered BlizzCon for the first time! Not only is it my first time covering BlizzCon, but also my first time covering an event in a journalistic fashion. I'm happy with the content I put out, and I learned a lot for next year!
All the Antorus healer guides are live and updated with DBM settings, with more updates coming as I experience the fights live.
The Stats and Gearing page was updated for Antorus, including the new item level worth system for trinkets. The next update will be applying the same item level worth principle to set bonuses.
Netherlight Crucible information was added to the Mistweaver Monk guide.
The following items aren't specific to any game or section, but should be a benefit to some or all people visiting the site
Amazon released their own localization plugin called OneLink, which I setup in place of my previous localization plugin. Unfortunately, the plugin still only works with adblock off.
Between BlizzCon and Antorus prep, the YouTube channel only received one notable video, a +14 Black Rook Hold run. Expect more videos as I kill bosses in Heroic Antorus.
As always, there's the playlist of all my archived Twitch streams for November, which features the new Stream Archive thumbnail.
Nothing out of the ordinary happened on Twitch this month in terms of content! It's just me playing World of Warcraft and Diablo six days per week as usual.
Notable milestones this month:
I thought sharing my time investment and money earned could help put things in perspective. If you'd like to support the site and stream, there are several methods located on the right-hand side of the page under "Show Additional Support," along with disabling adblock on the site, Twitch channel, and YouTube channel.
Approximate Hours Spent Working
Non-streaming activities (website, videos, etc): 150 (5 hours per day, 7 days per week)
Streaming: 90 (~3 hours 55 minutes per day, 6 days per week, minus 3 missed days this month)
That's all for this month! Feel free to leave comments and ask questions.
