In order to have more transparency about what's going on behind the scenes, I'm going to be doing monthly overviews of what was added and updated during the month. This can include content, back-end systems, and even things like marketing. These articles may be a little rough around the edges, but the goal is to get the point across without spending too much time editing the actual article (which means more time working on the stuff the article talks about).
During January 2018, the following items were added or updated.
New website development continued this month with a focus on systems related to page content, including:
Also developed this month was the register/sign in flow for Twitter/OAuth, meaning you'll be able to create accounts and login using your existing Twitter account (in addition to making an account the usual way). There's not much to show with this because none of it's styled, but it was a huge step from a coding standpoint!
As always, nothing in the picture is final, but it's a good indicator of how the design is coming along. The focus moving in to February will be finishing the migration of content and completing any addition systems that are missing to get that done.
The Antorus healer guides continued to receive small updates as I work my way through Mythic.
Several new Mythic Antorus kill videos were added!
As always, there's the playlist of all my archived Twitch streams for January.
Stream highlights of Mythic boss kills were also added to the Twitch collection
I thought sharing my time investment and money earned could help put things in perspective. If you'd like to support the site and stream, there are several methods located on the right-hand side of the page under "Show Additional Support," along with disabling adblock on the site, Twitch channel, and YouTube channel.
Approximate Hours Spent Working
Non-streaming activities (website, videos, etc): 155 (5 hours per day, 7 days per week)
Streaming: 82 (~3 hours 34 minutes per day, 6 days per week, minus 3 missed days)
That's all for this month! Feel free to leave comments and ask questions.
